Monroe Center Cafe

Located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, our Monroe Center cafe has long served as a gathering place for both visitors and locals alike. Whether stopping in for a quiet morning reset, meeting with colleagues, or settling in for an afternoon downtown, the space offers a front-row view into the rhythm of service and coffee preparation. Guests can take a seat at the bar to watch drinks crafted by our baristas or enjoy the patio overlooking Monroe Center.

Opened in 2008, Monroe Center was the first Madcap cafe and the original home of our roasting operations, which began in the basement before moving to our Fulton Street roastery years later.
