Walking his lush farm where happy trees loaded with ripe cherry exist in harmony with the nature surrounding them, his slopes tower over neighboring valleys with the poignant reminder of just how rugged the Huila landscape can be. Geisha, Pink Bourbon, and Caturra amongst other varieties are thoughtfully arranged, and the misty valley provides cool temperatures with its own microclimate for slow cherry maturation. Carlos is no stranger to the quality of his own coffee having fabricated and welded his own miniature drum roaster which allows him to stay in tune with immediate feedback of his own coffee. A keen eye for processing further amplifies his unique expression of Pink Bourbon loaded with creamy orange fruit and soft florals in addition to the classic profile that comes with this genetic variety.
