HOW WE BREW: FRENCH PRESS
Here with another at-home brew guide, we’re showing you the Madcap method for brewing with a French press. If you’re looking to brew a fuller, heavier bodied drink, we recommend using the French press. If you want a cleaner cup at the end, just leave a little of the liquid in the press when you decant the coffee at the end.
Some benefits of using a French press are that you can easily use any type of kettle and the steps are pretty streamlined, making it simple to brew a delicious cup.

HERE ARE A FEW TIPS WHEN BREWING WITH A FRENCH PRESS:
- Use filtered water. Water is the main ingredient in brewed coffee. We recommend distilled water with Third Wave Water added.
- Grind right before use. A burr grinder will give you the most even results.
